Since we are NOT a franchise, there are no ongoing royalties or fees, but you DO receive permanent long-term support and access to the purchasing network. From the beginning, you have total control over all decisions regarding YOUR store, including site location, store layout, timing of opening and merchandise.

The owner of Dollar Store Services also successfully owned and operated dollar and dollar plus stores, so we fully understand what is necessary. We know the best merchandise to provide to stores, when to begin stocking for each season and how to recruit and retain key employees among a countless array of topics. We understand the daily demands of the business and have incorporated our vast knowledge and experience into our program. When you work with us you work with a company who has first hand retail experience and will work with you to maximize your store's profits.

Training and Support
Training is designed to ensure that each new owner is familiar with the many aspects of managing their store. This experience begins before and continues well after the store's opening. Your trainer will be in contact with you both before and after the store has opened. This training will include a full review of our comprehensive operations’ manual and related materials designed to aid you in operating your store on a day-to-day basis. Both classroom and onsite training are available, and encouraged, prior to the opening of the store.

Build-Out and Top Quality Fixtures
We create the "Cadillac" of Dollar and Dollar Plus Stores, as we want to make an incredible presentation to your customer base. We supply steel framed gondolas with pegboard backing, beautiful cash counters, lighted showcases; glass display units are available. We use slat board with melamine finish on all interior walls. We do not supply flooring but when it is needed the landlord will generally provide it at no cost.

Our fixtures for your Dollar or Dollar Plus store are designed to be used on higher priced goods as well, so they can be used for many, many years. We also give you an allowance for the outdoor sign and provide interior store signs. We send a professional installer to the store location to install the slat board and all fixtures. Then, the work crew will stock merchandise and ready the store for the grand opening.
