Our History
When the original Ike Johnson established his first modest, little "parlor" down by the Old Frisco Depot more than 101 years ago, there was no lowlier food than chili. But at the artful hand of Johnson, chili grew in popularity and ultimately became the chosen dish of the elite and the masses. From banking leaders, to oil tycoons and retail magnets, Johnson’s clientele was a cross-section of growing Tulsa, OK. Customers from near and far flocked to Tulsa to try Ike’s Chili and even Will Rogers was an ardent fan.
