August 2008 - Home improvement industry projected to reach $380B by 2012

According to the Home Improvement Research Institute, the nation's home improvement industry is projected to reach $380B by 2012, from a current level of $302B.  Instead of moving, people are improving their own homes for comfort, quality of life and resale value. TheHomeMag is perfectly positioned to bring these consumers and home improvement businesses together by generating better leads than any other home improvement magazine in the country.

May 2008 – TheHomeMag Receives Kudos From the USPS

Good delivery is imperative to the success of every publication, so validation that our list is one of the best is indeed good news. The USPS took a random sampling from submitted lists and Charlene Miles, Certified Direct Mail Specialist with the USPS, called our list pristine, compared to what is normally found in such audits.  Some vendors claim an 85% accuracy rate for their lists.  Our 99.12% rate would be envied by any publication.

May 2008 – Things Look a Little Greener

Being green.  This way of living means many different things to many different people.  Being Green to TheHomeMag also means many things, but can be summed up in a sentence…for every tree lost in the creation of our magazines, we want two planted in its place.  Each of our Print Partners has an aggressive environmentally proficient habit of operating, and so too do the paper mills that produce our paper.  Our commitment to improve the quality of our magazine will not be at the expense of the environment – and our partners play an active role in this effort.  The FSC, the Sustained Forestry Initiative, energy reduction, recycling, waste emission control – they all play a major role in the quality and abundance of the world in which we live.  For more information please visit our website.
