Core Values
What makes TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® so successful is our core values and finding franchisees who believe in and follow those values, as well.
- Integrity: We treat customers, co-workers and our community with respect. All of our offices operate with honesty and fairness, and that’s what makes 94 percent of our customers refer us to others.
- Giving Back: Helping the community has been important to us from the beginning. Brothers Brig and Jon Sorber started the business in the early 1980s as a way to make extra money in high school. When they left to study, their mother, Founder Mary Ellen Sheets, took over and immediately distributed the first $1,000 profit among 10 charities. Our franchisees donate time and money to their communities, and a portion of the profits from each move is donated to the American Cancer Society annually.
- THE GRANDMA RULE®: We treat everyone the way we would want our grandma to be treated. That means treating everyone with care and respect.
- Care: As the “Movers Who Care” we are compassionate and considerate in every aspect of our business.
- Be Your Best and Have Fun: We strive to be the best professionally and personally – the top in the moving industry while enjoying life. The positive work environment we foster carries over to improve our customer service.
- Inclusion: We welcome everyone in the workplace and the community. We created a Merging Markets Department to educate everyone in our business on the importance of diversity.
