YOUR STEPS TO FRANCHISING WITH CLIX
Step 1: Inquiry - You are now here. Please fill out the form to request additional information from us. Then, if you feel that a CLIX franchise could be part of your future, take the next step and tell us more about yourself by completing our Request For Consideration or via our on-line link.
Step 2: Initial Telephone Discussion - An in-depth conversation on the phone is a great way for us to get to know each other. We will provide you with a detailed overview of our business model. Then we will outline our expectations, requirements and process. We will also be happy to answer your questions during this discussion.
Step 3: Executive Team Interview - We know you have lots of questions and want a complete understanding of CLIX. At the same time, we would like to get to know you better. We encourage you to take as much time as you need to learn about us so make a list of your questions and ask away! If there is continued mutual interest and you would like to attend one of our Discovery Days, we will set up additional informational interviews with various members of the CLIX executive team. You will also be asked to complete the detailed Request for Consideration form at this time.
Step 4: Business Planning - Prior to attending Discovery Day we encourage you to review your financial position and start to work on a business plan. If financial assistance is needed, you may want to make contact with a lending institution prior to attending Discovery Day. Should you need recommendations, we can point you in the direction of lending institutions that have worked with our existing franchisees.
Step 5: CLIX Discovery Day - We have started to get to know each other on the telephone and now it’s time to meet each other in person. At Discovery Day you will see an entire CLIX operation, meet employees, and depending on the location of Discovery Day, you will meet with some of the CLIX training staff and executive team members. We will introduce you to all facets of business operation, our history, the industry, and outline the responsibilities of each party.
Step 6: Review the Commitment - Building a business is a serious long-term commitment, both financially and personally. Please review this commitment carefully. If you did not receive it beforehand, you will leave Discovery Day with a Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC) for your review. Please READ it. You may want to have this document professionally reviewed and explained so that you fully understand the responsibilities and the commitment we will be making to each other. If you have any questions, we will more than happy to review them with you.
Step 7: Location, Location, Location - It's time to define the geographic area you would like to develop for your business. This is your protected territory that will be contained in the Franchise Agreement. The physical location selection process and lease negotiation begins only after the franchise agreement has been executed. We can assist you with demographic data so you may evaluate the viability of your geographic choices.
Step 8: Request and Execute a Franchise Agreement - This is when we both feel that there is a good fit, you have done your due diligence, selected your territory, and are ready to take the next steps and join the CLIX family. Contact us to request your franchise agreement in writing/email. You will have 30 days from the receipt of the package to execute the agreement and return it to us. During this period, we will reserve your selected territory.
Step 9: Congratulations, you are part of the CLIX family! Training and Support Begins - Prior to opening your business you will attend and complete the CLIX training program at our training facility, plus an on-site boot camp at your location. Please remember that with CLIX, initial training is included in your franchise fee. Our National Real Estate Team will assist you with the process from site location all the way through studio design and build out. Our “Store in a Box” process makes it easier than ever to get your business started. We also help you to set up your events business.
Step10: Commencement of Events Business to Studio Grand Opening – Before you even open your studio, you’ll begin marketing your events business. You can actually generate revenue before you even sign a lease for your store – just one of many benefits to being a CLIX franchisee! You are now an operating member of the CLIX team.
