The founder and president of the organization is Dr. Gail Silverstein. She has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry including leadership roles in private and public health care organizations. She also held University faculty appointments in Florida and Arizona, teaching in the areas of managed care, health policy and marketing. It was Dr. Silverstein's behind-the-scenes knowledge of the health care industry coupled with her personal experience helping her aging father at home that led her to realize there was a serious gap in the area of support, which is why she launched Assisting Hands®—to provide a better alternative for the elderly and disabled, and to assist people to age with grace. CEO, Dick Rennick, brings more than 30 years of franchise experience to our home care franchise system, assuring the highest level of support and development available.

As an Assisting Hands® Franchisee You Will Receive:

• Two weeks of intensive training, including both classroom and onsite instruction. The training program covers all aspects of the Assisting Hands® franchise business including caregiver training, recruitment and hiring, billing, scheduling and customer service, cash management, marketing and advertising.
• Ongoing support. Numerous support tools and resources are provided throughout the life of your business, including (but not limited to):
  • Franchise Intranet/Extranet.
  • Support from industry veterans in both home care and franchise support and development.
  • Regional marketing, public relations and development support.
  • Business systems created solely for the use of Assisting Hands® franchisees.
  • High-Tech/high-touch systems and support for both payroll and invoicing.
