Training and Support
Included in the Franchise fee is a comprehensive weeklong training program at our headquarters in Ft Lauderdale, Florida (air transportation and hotel are included). Subjects covered throughout the week are computer reservation training, product knowledge, sales, marketing and ship inspections.You'll also have unprecedented access to our cruise line partners for unique curriculum.
Marketing and Advertising
Our marketing strategies, sales promotion, advertising and public relations campaigns are unparalleled in the travel industry. Our cruise line partners, who spend an estimated $500 million a year in print, radio and TV advertising, underscore our efforts with substantial co-op opportunities. Our marketing department continuosly launches new initiatives, some of which recently have included:
Direct Mail - CruiseOne works with cruise lines to provide exciting, lead generating direct mail opportunities consisting of color postcards, brochures, and flyers that are personalized with your contact information and mailed at a fraction of the regular cost.
Print Campaigns - Each year, CruiseOne places nearly $1 million in consumer newspaper advertising funded in part by cruise line partners and local franchise owners. In addition, our award winning CruiseOne magazine is published three times a year, anchoring your position as a local cruise expert in your community.
Public Relations - Press releases on a variety of subjects are provided for submission to local and regional newspapers, magazines and television stations. Our PR team also supplements your local and regional efforts with major national consumer and trade media relations campaigns.
Cruise Travel Benefits - The industry is full of perks for those of you who love to travel. Cruise lines believe in the value of first hand experience with ships. Familiarization cruises are available to qualified franchise owners for about $40 per day, per person. In addition, CruiseOne offers periodic "seminars at sea" which combine training and product knowledge with the cruise experience. CruiseOne also sponsors incentive contests for its members with both cash and cruise travel rewards.
Investment and FeesThe CruiseOne license fee is only $9,800. There are no minimum recurring monthly fees. CruiseOne retains a small service fee of only three percent of the commissionable portion of the cruise sale.
Compensation
Your commission is the highest in the industry. You can also earn commissions on related product sales such as trip insurance, pre and post cruise hotels, shore excursions and much, much more.
