Franchise Buyers Express Positive Sentiment in Face of Pandemic

By Matt AldenMay 5, 2020

A recent survey of prospective franchise buyers indicates that more than 80% are undeterred in their intent to proceed with starting a business, and 50%+ expressed that they are either more likely or much more likely to start a business now than before the pandemic.

Historically, interest in franchise and business ownership increases during times of economic downturn and uncertainty. This trend looks to be holding true today, with 57% of survey respondents saying they agree or strongly agree that now is a good time to start a business.
