PostNet Offers New 3D Technology

PostNet in Minneapolis is launching new high tech 3D technology service during its grand opening today. As part of a pilot program, it will offer 3D printing services which allow professionals and students to use 3D technology to print 3D objects and prototypes quickly and inexpensively.

Dave Thorsen, Minneapolis PostNet owner and architect, introduced bringing 3D printing to PostNet after observing students in a local high school using it in their "Fab Lab", a laboratory affiliated with MIT during the school's renovation.

"I am thrilled to offer convenient access to this incredible technology that represents the future of prototype development and manufacturing, and to help explore this revolutionary technology's potential for PostNet," said Thorsen.
