The Slime Kitchen
The Slime Kitchen is a unique one-of-a-kind franchise focused on slime creation for slime lovers of all ages. We sit nicely at the intersection between art, science, and entertainment, which are key growth categories. Our main service is a do-it-yourself slime making experience, but we also host parties and workshops and sell slime and slime supplies. We have little to no competition. Our model closely resembles build-a-bear for slime.
Currently, the demand for slime is growing with slime dominating social media, leading to so much interest, demand, and evolution of slime. In 2019, slime content was over 25B views on YouTube alone, and the trend has surpassed those numbers. We are growing at a rapid rate and expect to be in every mall in every state in a few short years. We opened our first store only two and half short years ago and have since opened a company store every six months due to success. Given the demand, we are now offering the company to franchisees who share in our love for slime and want to be part of an explosive female-founded franchise with an incredible year-one offering. Her business background and connections have helped scale the company quickly and efficiently and her passion for kids and slime have allowed Slime Kitchen to evolve at a rapid rate lending to a much more mature business despite the number of years of existence. She left her 6 figure job to run Slime Kitchen because it's the most fun and rewarding job she’s ever had.
COO: Chris Ando
Holds a doctorate in pharmacy with 20+ years of running pharmacy operations at large scale hospitals. His operations-driven experience has led to building the operational process for Slime Kitchen stores.
VP of Franchise Success & Sales: Lidia Merlos
Lidia moved away from the tech industry and began running the second corporate-owned Slime Kitchen. Her love of the business led her to become our first franchisee and she has been training employees and ensuring stores maintain optimal sales.
VP of Brand and Creative: Christina Schwartz
Background in leading large brand and creative teams for companies like GoPro. Her love for the brand and realizing it’s a great solution for parents led her to join the team and also the franchising program.
