Hardest Hit Franchise Categories Show Highest Growth in July 2020
Underpinned by the continued month-over-month increase in overall franchise sales inquiry volume, many industry categories most negatively impacted by the pandemic show the most growth in July. Food and Restaurant franchises led the pack, with many successfully pivoting to takeout and delivery, as inquiry volume increased 20% over June.
Other categories experiencing significant increases in interest from prospetive franchisees are Senior Care, Pet Services, and Automotive. This trend bodes well for growth-minded franchisors, especially those that have remained on the sidelines awaiting some signals that 2020 may yet hold some franchise development productivity.
