Benjamin Rolph of Warner Robins, GA, is one of Growler USA’s newest franchise owners and originally inquired to the company through in October.  Rolph is a father of two and works as a fire fighter at the Department of Defense’s Robins Air Force Base. He wanted something different his town didn’t have. “I live in the middle of the Bible belt where
there are three things to do: Go to the movies, out to eat or to church.”

“As an independent business owner, everything is on you,” explains Rolph. “I talked to guys at work who had a lot of knowledge about franchising and spoke with a member of the Growler USA business development team for about an hour who sent me information about the opportunity.”

As part of his discovery process and training, Rolph attended the Charlotte location’s pre-opening and grand opening events. “It gave me a chance to see a tangible business and envision what I am buying and building.” Rolph, the fifth franchisee to sign on with Growler, starts construction on his location in Warner Robins May 1st and will schedule his grand opening for mid-August.

“I’m extremely excited to get started,” explains Rolph. “My daughter, who’s 12,  and I are big into cooking, and she’s been helping out with designing the menu for the kids section.”  Each Growler USA menu is chef-inspired. The Growler USA model allows franchise owners to customize the dishes to the location with local foods and often incorporates local brews into the meals.
